I sent it with DH Dana on a trip to Chicago to give to Aunt Diane. She reports that she appreciates it very much, as does Sophie the cat! I love that.

I might have to make myself another one, because I really like the way this turned out. I seem to work most times with a mixture of floral colors, and this time I enjoyed doing the monochromatic thing.

Wow! Robin’s always trying to “brighten me up.” It was fun sewing this vivid combination that’s outside my usual palette.

Hot Courtyard Squares

Round Robin is a fabulous quilt shop located not far from where I live. The fabrics there are something different from your usual fare… they’re unusual and eclectic plus ethnic, with a bent for the tropical and beachy. When you visit the Santa Cruz area, make sure to stop in!
